Kevin has set Alan's text to music in an arrangement that first appeared in Song of the Spirit: Texts for Sung Prayer by Alan (WLP 003422). This setting of the "Stations of the Cross" has been cleverly written for various combinations of performance options including SATB, two-part mixed choir, or solo cantor with ostinato choral refrain. A highly expressive and beautiful melody with two optional C instruments and cello supports the cogent text.
