This well-loved Christmas lullaby is arranged by talented WLP composer and arranger Ellen Coman. You may remember Ellen from her highly successful gospel-influenced arrangement of "Go, Tell it on the Mountain." Here her creative adaptation sings of Christ's birth and calls to mind the beauty of that day. Ellen has penned a harp-like piano accompaniment as the foundation for the simple melody. After the initial unison statement, a countermelody in the second voice adds colorful counterpoint and charming echoes, transforming "Infant Holy, Infant Lowly" into a valuable Christmas piece for younger or treble choirs.
