Rights and Permissions Manager Contact me
In May 2007, Michele vonEbers joined WLP as Rights and Permissions Manager.  Michele was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has lived in the Chicago area since 1987.

Michele began playing the piano at an early age and has always gravitated toward church music.  At the age of 12, she began accompanying her mother (singer, former parish music director and past president of an NPM chapter) in church, and by the time she was a high school junior, she was playing regularly in three parishes.  She was a parish organist while attending the University of Michigan, where she received an undergraduate degree in history, and the University of Illinois College of Law, where she received a juris doctor. Even with the demands of practicing law, she was active in her parish as a cantor, choir member and accompanist.

For 14 years, Michele practiced as a transactional attorney in Chicago, concentrating in real estate and banking.  Since “retiring” in 2001 to pursue her interests in liturgy and music, Michele has established herself as a freelance pianist/organist at the parish and Archdiocesan levels.

Michele has assisted WLP for several years as an outside proofreader and has sung for WLP-sponsored events at NPM conventions.  She is grateful for the opportunity to combine her legal training and knowledge of music in her position at WLP and is delighted to be working with folks of like mind and spirit.  Like many other WLP employees, Michele remains active as a music minister on the weekends.
