Andrew Chinn is an Australian musician who has been in full time music ministry with elementary children since 2003. Prior to this Andrew was a full time elementary teacher for twenty years in Catholic schools in Sydney, teaching all grades, including two years as a kindergarten teacher! His best known songs are “These Hands”, “Rainbow” and “An African Blessing”.

Andrew has released 8 CDs of catechetical and liturgical music for children since 2000, along with three DVDs and five picture books. His resources are used widely by teachers and catechists in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Canada.

Andrew holds a Bachelor Degree in Education, a Graduate Diploma in Religious Education and a Masters of Educational Leadership and is a graduate of the Australian Catholic University.

Since 2003 he has visited more than 900 Catholic elementary schools around the world and performed more than 2000 concerts. He has presented workshops for Catechists and Teachers across Australia and North America, including the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress and the NCEA Convention.

Andrew’s current project with World Library Publications includes the recent release of his collection People of Peace which has been made available for distribution in North America.

Andrew is married to Bernadette and is the father of four daughters and has seven grandchildren (at last count!). Andrew and Bernadette live with their youngest daughter Eleanor in the country town of Bowral in Australia.
