Bob has written a superior arrangement of this beloved chant melody.  Set in a meter of 5, the basses and tenors open with a haunting rhythmic drone on the first words of the Latin text.  An enchanting interplay develops between the women's and men's sections as they exchange melodic phrases.  A beautiful bell-like rhythmic pattern in the SA section leads to a dramatic cadence.  The piece then concludes as simply as it began.
