This psalter was created with the youngest generation of the faithful in mind. Nationally-known children's educators and composers have crafted beautiful settings especially for the child's voice. The texts explore a variety of relationships with God conveyed by the psalms: lamenting, praising, thanksgiving, pleading, questioning, rejoicing. These versatile pieces all have either descants or instrumental parts. The optional instrument parts, utilizing triangle, finger cymbals, hand chimes, hand drum, handbells, and more, are within the skills of most children. There are also reprintable refrain boxes at the end of the director’s edition.
