Deanna Light, the daughter and granddaughter of music ministers, has been active in church music since the age of six! Holding bachelor's degrees in English and Spanish, Deanna recently completed a master's degree in liturgical studies at the Catholic University of America, where she was also a member of the Campus Ministry staff.

She is currently Co-Director of Music and Liturgy at the Church of St. Brendan in the Atlanta area, and has worked with adult and children's choirs, traditional and contemporary ensembles, and conducted numerous workshops for lectors and cantors.

Deanna has co-authored several songs with Paul Tate where they are published through World Library Publications.
