She studied at De Paul University School of Music, concentrating on music education. She also began pursuing her niche in the pop field, writing arrangements, singing and playing keyboards with her own band, which continued in the entertainment world for over twenty years. Her travels led her from local stages in Chicago to as far away as Japan.
Christine never lost sight of her call to parish music ministry and held full time music and liturgy positions in Chicago parishes for fifteen years. Her experiences ranged from children's, teen, adult, and handbell choirs, teaching kindergarten through eighth grade, training cantors, to directing liturgy committee. She graduated from Liturgy Institute of Chicago in 1993 and has been a member of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians for over a decade. Juggling marriage, motherhood and music has kept her busy.
In 2000 she enthusiastically joined the editorial staff at WLP. She is a contributor to AIM Magazine and also edits choral octavos. On weekends she volunteers in her home parish music ministry program as cantor, choir member and keyboardist, and serves in various parishes as a substitute.
