Stephanie Honz is the newest member of the Liturgical Organists Consortium, effective March, 2006.

Stephanie holds degrees in organ performance from the University of Wisconsin and the Eastman School of Music. She most recently was awarded the 2003 "Artist of the Year" award in Florence, Italy. Her past accomplishments include the gold cup at the 1998 International Baroque Music Festival Competition in Dresden, Germany, the 1999 gold medal at the European Guild of Music Competition in Vienna, Austria, and the 2000 Prix D'Excellence at Esterhazy, Hungary.

Stephanie is under concert management with Sir Frederich Meuller in Germany, and travels to Europe on a regular basis for solo concert tours. She has appeared as guest artist with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hochstein Chamber Orchestra in Germany. Stephanie also sings with the German group Psalite, an acapella group of eight specializing in early sacred music.

Stephanie is an avid member of NPM, and has enjoyed playing and presenting for the last eight years at both national and regional conventions.

In the Diocese of Rochester she sits on the American Guild of Organists Board for the Rochester Chapter, serves on the Professional Concerns Committee, the Diocesan Music Committee, is the Chair of the Providing Musicians for the Future Committee, and is also on the faculty for continuing education at St. Bernard's Seminary.

Stephanie is the full-time Pastoral Associate of Liturgy and Liturgical Music at St. Louis Church in Rochester, New York.
