Florida composer Charles Thatcher arranges the Te Deum, Tonus Simplex.  Here he has created a dialogue between cantors and chorus; the assembly participates with the easily repeated Latin response "Te Deum laudamus."  The choral writing creatively supports the assembly part and adds harmonic contrast beneath the cantor verses.

Sunday of the Year:  Ordinary Time 31 Year C; Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
Te Deum Laudamus Listen
Organ may double choir where notated.  The quilisima indicates a lengthening of the first note in the figure, and a shortening of the note under the sign.
