WLP Gospel Artist and composer Jalonda Robertson wrote this Christmas anthem for the Cheri/Robertson recording project Good Ground. This amazing piece begins quietly, paraphrasing the time-honored carol "O Come, All Ye Faithful" as the keyboard punctuates with jazz/blues-influenced chords in the background. The distinct, dynamic SATB refrain features short solo passages by each section within the four-voice structure. In the bridge, dynamic use of staggered vocal entrances draws our attention to the text "O come let us adore for he is Christ the Lord." The coda melds several classic carols, sometimes simultaneously, including "Joy to the World," "O Come, All Ye Faithful," and "Angels We Have Heard on High."  Well done, Jalonda!
