Mary has been involved in parish music ministry since the age of ten and is thrilled to be pursuing a career that continues that work. From Children's Choir to Schola and most things in between, she has seen music ministry from many angles. She was also involved in Youth Ministry at her home parish of St. Francis Xavier in LaGrange, IL while she was in high school.

As a student at the University of Notre Dame, Mary studied Vocal Performance along with Theology and Liturgical Music Ministry. Also at the University of Notre Dame, Mary served for two years as the music minister for her residence hall choosing the music for weekly Masses as well as leading the choir and congregation. This experience helped her to further understand and appreciate the importance of hard work involved in music ministry.

As Worship Resources Editor, Mary constructs the resources that are usually found in the pews. She loves the idea that the work she does so directly affects other Mass-goers like herself. She continues to be involved in parish ministry at St. Francis as well as other parishes in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
