Ed Bolduc

This talented and dynamic musician dove into liturgical music by writing powerful music for the youth of his parish back in 1992 for the Life Teen Mass. Ed is currently the full-time Music Director of that same parish, Saint Ann in Marietta, Georgia, where he has been on staff since.

In 2005 Ed received two Unity Awards from the United Catholic Music and Video Association (UCMVA): Artist of the Year and Liturgical Album of the Year. He is composer of the beautiful and well-loved contemporary Mass setting Mass of Saint Ann. Ed was an editorial consultant for Voices As One® , Volume 2 and is the producer of the incredible 10-CD set of recordings from the hymnal. Ed continues to produce the music found in the More Voices as One® music series.

Ed?s most recent WLP-published CD, Hymns (2012), is a 7-song EP of popular hymn texts set to new music with a contemporary feel. Included is a haunting new setting of "I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say" along with a fresh new recording of Ed's "At the Name of Jesus."

Ed continues to write, record, and produce instrumental piano music independently. Reason to Live (2013) is the most recent. Along with being a contributing artist to World Library Publications, he also works as an editor, arranger, and producer on various projects.

Ed?s wife, Karen, is an integral part of his music and can be heard singing on many of their recordings. They live in Woodstock, Georgia with their two children.

Sing Out! A Children's Psalter Chorister's Edition

This psalter was created with the youngest generation of the faithful in mind. Nationally-known children's educators and composers have crafted beautiful settings especially for the child's voice. The texts explore a variety of relationships with God conveyed by the psalms: lamenting, praising, thanksgiving, pleading, questioning, rejoicing. These versatile pieces all have either descants or instrumental parts. The optional instrument parts, utilizing triangle, finger cymbals, hand chimes, hand drum, handbells, and more, are within the skills of most children. There are also reprintable refrain boxes at the end of the director's edition.
