This Is Your Justice - Colson

Craig Colson has taken images from the scriptures proclaimed during Advent and crafted a song for cantor, three-part choir, and assembly. "This Is Your Justice" would be perfect for the entire Advent season. It is so easily learned that no worship aid would be necessary. The assembly responds during the verses with the words of the title, and then joins in with the refrain, "Prepare ye the way of the Lord." This is from Craig's recording I Am the Way ( wlp 008390).

I Am the Way - Colson - lead sheet - click and print

We welcome Craig Colson to the WLP family with his debut EP recording "I Am the Way" (WLP 008390). Proficient on several instruments and voice, Craig has been a music and liturgy director in the Phoenix area for twenty years and is the Liturgy Liaison for Life Teen International. Inspired by the words found in John 14:4-6, Colson has crafted this highly effective contemporary anthem that you'll see is ideal for both small and larger choirs. The step-wise, tuneful verses proclaim, "if you believe in me, what you ask in my name, I will do." The choral refrain employs a call-and-response format between the cantor with choir/assembly. After one listen, the congregation will enthusiastically join in. Thanks to Ed Bolduc for his vocal arranging and producing expertise on this fine debut CD.
